This was a fun project for one of the musicians that I interviewed during the research of my Legato case study. Bailey - who performs electronic music under the MEYO name - took a liking to my artwork and hired me to do his cover art.

During our first call, I mapped out how he felt about his EP, and what he wanted the cover to communicate. He first requested a concept to be done in the stark blank and white lines of one of my Organism pieces. When I presented the draft, it just didn’t portray the energy and feeling of his music. Bailey was open to new ideas, so I emulated his wild, vivid music into a much more vibrant and surreal image and he loved it.
